The Chapel and Fellowship Hall are available for Memorial Services and Receptions - there is no charge for use of the facilities, however donations are gratefully accepted.
Chapel in the Pines is here to serve the community and provide a place for family and friends to gather in honor and remembrance of their loved ones.

The Swanson Memorial Garden
The Swanson Memorial Garden was dedicated at the Chapel on May 28, 1989, insuring a final resting place surrounded by the peace and beauty of our cherished mountains. The memorial garden serves members of the Chapel in the Pines, their families, residents and former residents of Red Feather Lakes and the surrounding area.

Services & Receptions:

Chapel Sanctuary

The Chapel Sanctuary will seat 175 people. The interior walls are beautiful natural redwood paneling. A stained glass window on the west wall depicts the mountains streams, pine trees and wild flowers.

Fellowship Hall

The adjacent Fellowship Hall is a beautiful building with floor to ceiling picture windows that feature views of snowcapped mountains and ranch meadows. The building has 3,000 square feet in the main area and is fully equipped for a reception. We have 13 tables that will easily seat six or seven people each. The surrounding deck has picnic tables for eating outside. There is a piano, an organ, television and public address system on the main floor.

A fully equipped kitchen with an abundance of counter space includes place settings for 75 people, an array of serving dishes, punch bowls and tablecloths. Our kitchen is  a “food warming & serving area”.  Food prepared offsite may be warmed, refrigerated and served.

You may choose to have part or all of your event outdoors, with the added comfort of knowing that indoor backup facilities are nearby.

Internment in the Swanson Memorial Garden:

A brass plaque ($100.00) engraved with your loved one's name can be placed on the wall in the garden, if you wish.  Veteran's plaques are marked with an American Flag and each year on Memorial Day, flags are placed there to honor their service.
An outdoor kiosk shows the location and date of internment in the garden.

In memory of their loved ones, out of area family members have purchased a memorial plaque only.

Please contact us about arrangements for a Memorial Service and/or Internment in the Swanson Memorial Garden.
